Customers have used it successfully on vehicles like the 2018 Jeep Cherokee, Volkswagen MK7 Golfwagen, Toyota Highlander Hybrid, and Subaru Crosstrek. However, on some vehicles like 2008 Subaru Outback, the design conflicts between the feet and the factory rails mean that installing them may not allow the crossbars to spread wide enough, and the front crossbar to be far enough forward to use the bike racks without the hatch hitting things while it’s up. Additionally, some customers received their product with an incorrect key. However, overall customers are pleased with the Rhino-Rack Vortex SX legs for its excellent quality, easy installation, and compatibility. Some have used it in combination with the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Cross Bar, Black, 44-Inch, while others have used the Thule feet with it.
