On the other hand, some customers have had issues with the mechanism used to hold the router's height while being used as a lift in a table, as the height shaft easily pops off. Some customers have also had issues with the E retaining ring on the adjustment rod getting bent out of shape. These issues can ruin the cuts and make the router stuck, according to the customers. In general, the base can work just fine when right-side up but has poor design or compatibility issues with some routers.
