Mathematical Analysis Editorial Review
The Numerical Analysis 2nd edition book is a solid reference material that covers topics in an easy-to-read style with several solved examples. The book is recommended for CS students and programmers, and it provides adequate background and necessary skills, according to a reviewer who has been teaching numerical methods for years. The material is a great resource, and one can derive their formulas to solve a specific problem. However, another reviewer noted that the 7th edition has made significant changes and rid of some examples, unlike the 3rd edition, which has better graphics and characters. They also pointed out that the book is a study guide and not the main text. There is also a preference for the latest version for course purposes, but the book is still a great version for personal use. Nonetheless, the book is well written, and the reviewer learned a lot from it.
