It works on all winches if installed between the winch and the hook. It is only made for powersports winches and will work on a 7/32 inch cable. The screws that hold it together are of high quality, possibly stainless steel. It works with winch rope up to 7/32". The country of origin changes between the USA and China. Customers found it easy to install and great value for the money. It is highly recommended and prevents the cable from getting jammed, making it a nice save when pulling in your winch cable. However, one customer pointed out that it is not suitable for truck winch lines.
