The charger has a 10 amp fast charge, 50 amp engine start for fast engine starting, 2 amp slow charge for small batteries and 12 VOLT Smart Technology Full automatic operation. It features a thermal runaway protection, multi-stage charging algorithm, patented aluminum transformer, and instant engine start. The charger is not intended to supply power to low-voltage electrical systems apart from a motor-starting application. The charged/maintaining (green) LED indicator light pulsates when charging is complete and has switched to the maintain mode of operation. The charging cable and power cord are 6ft long, while the charger is designed to work with 120 volts circuits. Customers have had mixed experiences. Some find the product durable and reliable having used it for years, while others have had issues with the product not charging the battery, giving up on trickle charging, and finding it no better than a trickle charger.
