The wire spacing is half an inch, and the cage measures 11 1/4" front to back, 16" wide and 22 1/4" high. The cage comes with two dishes and a removable tray, making cleaning easy. However, the single small door may make it difficult to reach inside for hanging toys or providing treats. It is not recommended that this cage be hung from the ceiling, as it is quite heavy.
