miR Sleds & Chutes Editorial Review
The miR Sled Harness is a versatile and adjustable harness designed to assist individuals in pulling heavy loads such as sleds or equipment. With a maximum chest size of 50 inches, this harness is comfortable for most users. However, it is worth noting that smaller chests will provide a more secure fit, while larger chests may cause the straps to not tighten up completely. One customer inquired about using the harness over a heavy winter coat for ice fishing, and it was confirmed that the harness can adjust to fit over any clothing. The key is to ensure that the straps are securely tightened around the torso before pulling. Another customer questioned whether the harness would fit a small 10-year-old. While the harness will fit, there may be an excess of room as it is designed to accommodate adult sizes. The customer who provided the response mentioned that he is 6 feet tall and 185 pounds, and the harness fits him perfectly for reference. In terms of weight capacity, a customer asked if the harness would fit a 305-pound bodybuilder, to which it was stated that it probably would not. It is important to Consider the intended user's body size and weight when determining if this harness is suitable for their needs. In terms of usability on different surfaces, the harness has been used on grass with success. One user mentioned using it to drag a heavy chain and found it to work well. So, it appears that the harness can handle pulling heavy loads on grass without any issues. For those interested in using the harness for exercises such as front leaning dips with weight attached, a customer asked if the rings by the chest would be strong enough. The response indicated that the rings are Constructed similarly to the center rings and have successfully pulled a couple of hundred pounds. However, it was noted that the positioning of the rings may be slightly awkward for certain exercises. Overall, the miR Sled Harness appears to be a reliable and adjustable harness suitable for individuals looking to pull heavy loads. It comfortably fits most users, but it is necessary to Consider the intended user's size and weight to ensure a proper fit. The harness can be used on grass without any issues, and the rings by the chest are sturdy enough for pulling heavy weights, although the positioning may not be ideal for certain exercises.
