jawab: I bought it for my grandson who absolutely loved it. I don't think there was a problem with the quality as I had nothing to compare it with. Sorry, not much help. -

jawab: Yes, you can build your own. Let your imagination go wild. There are instructions for a few different builds in the manual but also a lot more available online to download and print out. This kit is super sturdy and great fun. -

jawab: We have Launch Pad and Ultimate Set models & all the pieces connect together, so more than the illustrated models can be built. Grandsons aged 4, 5, 8 love playing with them. -

jawab: As far as I'm aware it will only connect with same brand sets. -

Can you use ordinary marbles with this?
jawab: The marbles provided are larger than ordinary ones and a bit lighter because they need to be able to be 'launched' or jump over some sections of the run. There are 10 of them which was enough for both my grandsons to play with it.
