The film features a young and talented cast, contributing to its endearing comedic appeal. The transfer to Blu-Ray has been well-received, with customers noting significant improvements in picture quality and audio, enhancing the viewing experience while allowing audiences to enjoy the film in its intended aspect ratio. While the film may not resonate with everyone—particularly with those who may not enjoy sports-themed comedies—fans who appreciate football and the playful tone of 80s films will find "Johnny Be Good" to be a worthy addition to their collection. Some viewers expressed disappointment over its edited version, indicating that those seeking the uncut experience may want to Consider previous releases. Regardless, it remains a notable gem for collectors and nostalgic fans. **
