The instructions on the product suggested that it be dissolved in water to be used to fertilize plants. Pot plants require the solution to be applied with each watering until desired color and blooming are achieved, and every other watering after that to help maintain vigorous growth. Foliage feeding requires the solution to be sprayed every 7-10 days, while outdoor plants require soil application by dissolving 2 teaspoons in 1 gallon of water, and then applying 1 quart per square foot of planted area every 7/14 days. The product is effective in producing copious blooms; however, some customers had issues with the packaging. Some were disappointed that it came in a bag instead of a canister, while others received the product in a clumped form that was hard as a rock from getting wet before receiving. The fertilizer has no expiration date, and it can be used in a hose-end sprayer.
