The drive uses 3D NAND TLC technology and has good headroom for Total Bytes Written, which is a gauge of how long an SSD will last. The 4K read speed is impressive, and although the 4K write speed is slightly slower, it will not make a difference in a server RAID environment with a good buffer. The drive is SATA and comes in a standard 2.5" size. Compared to other brands such as Samsung and SanDisk, the Intel drive offers cost-effectiveness and superior quality. The vendor provided excellent prices and quick shipping.
