It includes complete texts of papal bulls, extracts from St. Bernard's writings, extracts from the rule of the order, extracts from chroniclers' accounts, charters granting lands to the order, surveys of Templar property, and more. The collection stops before the alleged later survival of the Templars and does not include non-Latin/French sources or sources from Muslim or Greek perspectives. Overall, it provides a comprehensive understanding of the historical evidence for the Templars.
