Origin8 Headsets Editorial Review
Origin8 Pro Threaded Headset, 1" Steerer features a cartridge bearing design that's hard to find in 1" threaded options, making it an excellent choice for vintage bikes. Users appreciate the smooth feel after installation and the tight fit of the head cups, which eliminate the need for constant re-tightening. Despite a few minor issues mentioned, such as the stack height being higher than typical, this headset has received consistent praise for its quality and performance, with many reviewers noting it performs exceptionally well on challenging trails without loosening. Additionally, the headset's elegant design is a bonus for bike restorations, blending functionality with good looks.
