The Native Instruments Maschine Mk3 Drum Controller is a powerful and versatile tool for music production. It can be used with or without other NI instruments, as it has its own DAW called Maschine and can also be used as a plugin in other DAWs, including FL Studio. It can also be used as a MIDI controller. However, if used as a plugin in other DAWs, it may take some time to route the signal from its own track into the inputs. The device requires quite a bit of software to be downloaded and installed, but this is all managed by their online system and is fairly no hassle on a PC. Though on a MAC, the install experience is even easier. It is a powerful tool, but not very intuitive. It takes time to learn and may require several hours of software downloading for the initial set up.
