If you plan to weave rugs, you need to do some research because the loom can only weave pieces as wide as its size. The stand is lightweight and flimsy, but it is not a big deal. You can use the loom without the stand if you have a table that can accommodate it. The double heddle adapter from Ashford is available, making it possible to use two heddles. The loom is lightweight, making it difficult to keep the tension on your warp. You can use sandbags to help keep it stable. Some users complained about the side shelves that are not included in the stand, which makes it harder to hold the shuttle.
