The Performance 4" Resonator is a great addition to any vehicle that has a loud exhaust or drone issues. The resonator is 4" ID and fits over 4" OD pipes and can be fastened using clamps or welding. The inside surface has louvers along the entire surface, resulting in very little exhaust sound at idle and creating a V-shaped sound with raised RPMS. The customer reviews for this product are mixed. Some customers have found it very effective in reducing the drone and overall exhaust noise, while others have found that it did not work as expected. One customer noted that the pictures showed a louvered resonator, but it was actually a fiberglass packed louver, which they found unsatisfactory and returned the product.
