Doom's flow is warm, rough-hewn, and definitely charming--standing in stark contrast to the alienating, intimidating man in the mask--while the production sounds like a smoother, jazzier take on the early-'90s sampling era.

MF Doom Format: Vinyl Opera & Classical Vocal MFLP 93 Editorial Review
Operation: Doomsday by MF Doom is a classic hip-hop album that has received rave reviews from fans and critics alike. The vinyl pressing of this album is of excellent quality, with a crisp and clear sound that enhances the listening experience. The fast shipping and careful packaging ensure that the record arrives in perfect condition. However, there have been some mixed feedback regarding the album cover art. Some customers were disappointed to find that the vinyl came with a bland metal album cover instead of the original artwork that was advertised. Additionally, a few customers mentioned that they did not receive the promised poster. For record collectors, the album cover is an essential component of the overall experience, and the lack of original artwork diminishes its value. Overall, Operation: Doomsday is highly recommended for fans of MF Doom and old school hip-hop. The quality of the vinyl pressing and the timeless nature of the music make it a worthy addition to any collection. However, potential buyers should be aware of the discrepancies in the album cover art and the missing poster.
