- APPS compatibility - iCar Pro Bluetooth low energy device works with most popular OBD apps such as BimmerCode, BimmerLink, Car Scanner, Shift OBD, AlphaOBD, OBD Fusion, OBD Jscan, Carista, Torque etc. which can transform your iPhone or Android phone/tablet into a sophisticated car scan tool. Attention: App per features required to pay subscription fees (not free).
- Device Compatibility - Compatible with iOS and Android devices. An Android device can connect directly to the Bluetooth side with the name ANDROID-VLINK. Pairing code 1234. iOS device simply activate Bluetooth on the iOS device, does not need to pair Bluetooth name, then configure the device name in the settings of the OBD app. Attention: Windows version only supports a few apps (AlfaOBD, Multiecuscan).
- Vehicle compatibility - 12 volt petrol vehicles made in the USA and are compatible with standard OBD2 protocols from 1996. 12 volt light diesel vehicles with a load of 6.5 tons or less that support OBD2 protocols after 1996. Warning: Cannot be used on 24 volt diesel cars.

- Low power consumption - The vgate iCar Pro iOS adapter supports automatic sleep mode and auto-wake function and consumes as little as 3mA in sleep mode. and normal standby voltage of 46-48mA, which helps to save the battery power of the car. Attention: Automatic activation for electric and hybrid vehicles is not supported. Requires re-insertion to wake up.
