You will need to regularly tumble the composter; and ensure that the content remains moist. It can take two to three years to break down vegetable matter into compost even if you use an accelerator. Poultry manure or human urine are examples of natural accelerator. Hot bin or Bokashi bin is recommended if you want to compost cooked food or meat waste. -
