Amtech S4435 Tile Nipper The Amtech S4435 Tile Nipper is a versatile tool that can be used for cutting and shaping various types of tiles. While it is suitable for cutting pieces of china such as broken plates, some users have found that it is easier to use a different tool specifically designed for glass and mosaic tiles, such as the Vitrex Mosaic & Glass Tile Nipper VITMGN002. This tile nipper is capable of handling ceramic wall tiles that are 5.5mm thick with ease. It is not designed for cutting vitreous mosaic tiles, as a different tool called the Wheel Blades Cutter would be more suitable for that purpose. While this tool may not be suitable for cutting large tiles in half, it is perfect for shaping edges or nibbling off small bits. It is also capable of cutting 2mm mother of pearl tiles. The Amtech S4435 Tile Nipper is flat at the end, allowing for flush cuts. In terms of reception, some customers have expressed disappointment with the quality of these tile nippers, claiming that they chipped straight away and broke after a short period of use.
