VARTA Standard Torches 18629101421 Editorial Review
The VARTA Power AA batteries Flashlight is a reliable and bright torch that offers an IPX4 splash-proof housing, making it suitable for outdoor use. The aluminum Construction adds durability to the torch, ensuring it can withstand rough conditions. The torch provides a dimmer function, allowing users to adjust the brightness according to their needs. Additionally, the glow-in-the-dark ring around the torch head makes it easy to locate in the dark. Customers have praised the brightness of the torch, noting that it exceeds expectations for a device powered by two AA batteries. The beam is described as having noticeable rings of different brightness, with a small, bright center and a more yellow light surrounding it. The overall beam is Considered "normal" and provides sufficient illumination. However, some users find the low-settings feature unnecessary, as it requires pressing the button twice to switch off the torch, which can be inconvenient. A few customers have reported that the torch is not shockproof as advertised, leading to concerns about its durability. In summary, the VARTA Power AA batteries Flashlight is a bright and durable torch suitable for various outdoor activities. While it may have some minor drawbacks, such as the inconvenience of the low-settings feature and potential durability issues, it generally receives positive feedback for its brightness and usability.
