- Le but de cette étude est de préparer des comprimés matriciels de dexaméthasone, qui peuvent gérer les divers facteurs-observances et commodités du patient, gérer le temps d'administration du médicament, réduire les doses multiples de dexaméthasone, effet thérapeutique souhaité. L'approche de base dans le développement de comprimés matriciels est l'utilisation de diluants co-traités tels que la cellulose microcristalline (MCC), le stéarate de magnésium, le lactose, etc. et un polymère naturel comme la gomme adragante permettent une désintégration lente des comprimés après leur mise en place dans la cavité buccale, libérant ainsi le médicament dans l'estomac. La biodisponibilité de certains médicaments peut être diminuée en raison de l'absorption des médicaments dans la salive et également en raison de l'absorption prégastrique de la salive contenant des médicaments dispersés qui passent dans l'estomac. Dans cette étude, j'ai choisi le médicament dexaméthasone car il a une demi-vie de 4-6 heures et peut être formulé comme un médicament de type durable. La formulation du comprimé sur la base d'un lot optimisé contenait 1,6 % de dexaméthasone avec 98,4 % d'excipients. En conclusion, on peut dire que les études ont été utiles pour faire évoluer la libération prolongée ou les comprimés matriciels de dexaméthasone.
